Thought I'd share a brief account of my experience as i lost my Ibiza virginity . It was amazing, I'd heard it was, but clearly you never quite realise how good it is until you experience it.
Stayed in a lovely apartment in Playa Den Bossa right on Bossa Beach. Lovely and quiet, yet within reaching distance of the madness at Bora-Bora! On the first day we 'popped down to Bora-Bora' to see what it was like and at about lunchtime it was going off. I'd never seen anything like it and knew I'd made the right choice we ended up staying all afternoon. Only went for a week so crammed in some serious clubbing...
Pete Tong on friday, Hed Kandi Saturday, Space Sunday, Roger Sanchez Monday, Carl Cox Tuesday, Erick Morillo Wednesday and a nice relaxing trip to Mambo on Thursday.
Can't say I really enjoyed San An, felt a bit too tacky but maybe it was just that a week's worth of caning it in clubs has taken its toll on my mood. None the less, the sunset was well worth it, the DJ played Nessun Dorma as the sun went down (in tribute to Pavarotti I guess) and it was spine tingling.
We tried to make the most of the daytimes too, went for a bit of an explore as much as possible, but didn't see as much as I'd like. Perhaps next year (oh yes, definately going back) a rented car and an extra few days is in order... Well, here I am now, I'm physically and financially shattered, but mentally envigorated. Only another 51 weeks until next time!
Thanks for listening
