Retro @ Pacha

I think it could be quite fun hearing a few classics being boshed out in there :D

I don't think you're going to get people going just for Retro but quite a lot of the clientelle who will be @ Pacha on a Thursday will be of the generation who remember all the old classics from when they were first out.
 
Certainly better than having R&B in the global room.

I think it'd be fun for a bouncy break from the main room and, as Babs alluded to, a bit of the nostalgia factor.

Opening night is the same as Deep Dish so I'll be there 8)
 
i'm just a bit worried by the "crowd" it might attract seeing as it has been a san an night for many years now.

I don't think people will trek from San Antonio just to see Retro in the Global Room - it's not as if it's a big draw to pull the crowds in.

And it was bigger among workers than the typical BA San An crowd so I don't think you'll have a thing to worry about.

Retro has always attracted more of an older crowd, it's the younger ones who are the trouble causes.

Saying that, have been to Ibiza every year since 1997 and dont think i have ever seen a single fight or anyone ejected from a bar or club.

There are more security men on at Pacha than most clubs so they will take care of any trouble causes.

Retro

Im going to Ibiza for the first time this year and am mainly going to see Paul Taylor.. the mans a legend and ive never been to a retro night i havent danced my sox off to, i always end up wishing it will never end.
There'll be no trouble from proper retro fans!!

Any other nights i should get myself to? We get there on a saturday so think were gonna hed straight to El Divino for Hed Kandi but otherwise the rest of the holiday isnt planned!
 
aye can only agree retro honey! i cant wait 4 retro in ibiza and if the crowd over there is wot it is like here then it shud be top! its my first time 2 ibiza 2 n ive had 2 talk people in2 goin 2 pacha 4 the retro but i dint wana miss it!! the same tho that is the only nite we have sed we are definately goin 2! were not rite sure bout nething else yet!! ne suggestions wud be sweet!! 4 weeks on friday!! bring on the good times!!!
 
Will be their on the 29th of june. Going to see deep dish but will probably drop in and catch a few retro tunes.

Retro

Im skint now and i need to save for Ibiza so am not gonna go out much till after my hols (10 weeks to go!!). Im guessing im gonna need well over a grand spends (Is that right any1?) so am gonna try hard to save. Got a picture from Skipton which i think u might be in, my mate James took it.. Ill try and upload it when i can find it!
