hi,

can anyone tell me where these retaurants are: sa punta and sa capella?

ive heard that they are both really nice and in all the years of going to ibiza i have never been to them.

i know where the pacha resturant is but how do u get ur free entry into pacha after you have eaten there? do they give you free tickets after paying the bill? what kind of food do they do in both the ones i mentioned at top of page and at pacha restuarant?

thanks everyone

Sa Punta is in Talamanca (also owned by Pacha) - very nice restaurant by the sea.

Sa Capella is just outside of San Antonio at the north - again one of the nicer restaurants on the island.

You can't go wrong with either of them - I'd probably slightly veer towards Sa Punta just cos of it's water side location.

Both are typically mediterranean restaurants - lots of fish dishes, meat features heavily too.

With the restaurant at Pacha, the restaurant is actually as you enter on the left hand side and it leads into the club so once you have finished eating you just wander thru into the club, you don't get any ticket.

Pacha has either a sushi menu and the normal Pacha one which is quite extensive (loads of starters, fish and meat dishes) - a couple of weeks ago 6 of us ate there, we all had sushi to start, main course each and a couple of people had puddings, we had LOADS of rose and after dinner drinks and we paid 70 euros each including tip and that included entry to club, it's very reasonable for what it is.

can anyone tell me what KM5 is like to eat out in Pdb.?

KM5 isn't in PDB, it's 5km from Ibiza Town on the San Jose to Ibiza Town road. It's been my fave restaurant on the island for years - it's really chilled and altho the menu isn't that extensive there are about 6/7 meat mains and fish mains and lots of starters. I don't eat meat but I have it on good authority that they do the best steaks they've ever eaten there.

Expect to pay about 100 euros for slap-up 2/3 course meal with wine/drinks/water, service.

I have to agree with Barbie re: KM5.

Many people bemoan the prices but of all the restaurants in all the world I have dined in, this place is the coolest / most chilled ever. The food is excellent too!

We always get taxis - it's right round the far end of Talamanca so would be quite a walk, likewise Sa Capella is just outside San Antonio so you'd need a taxi to get there.

Yes def book the Pacha restaurant in advance - depending on when you go and how many in your group book a day or few in advance. We normally book around 10.30/11pm and that gives us plenty of eating/drinking time but people book much later.

would i be right in saying talamanca is on the opposite side of the harbour in ibiza town and that is where sa punta is? ive just found sa capella on the map so will go there

thanks for ur info barbie

If you're driving:

Sa Punta - you drive to the end of Marina Botafoch and turn left at the roundabout, then turn left again and head back towards Pacha. There will be a solitary road a block ahead on your right. Take that road into the main part of Talamanca and turn right on the first road you can (it should be the 2nd turn in central Talamanca. The first has a do not enter sign). Head straight down that road until you see the Sa Punta sign, turn right and you're there. If you see the abandoned water park, you've gone too far.

Sa Capella - If you're coming in or out of San An on the main road from/to Ibiza, there is a roundabout just on the edge of downtown. From that circle, take the road heading towards Sta Agnes. Head straight through 2 or 3 more roundabouts and you'll see Sa Capella on your right.

do u still get free entry into pacha after eating in their restaurant even on the closing party nights? we are planning on booking a table for the pure pacha closing party night see

I've been to Deep Dish and Renaissance Closings in previous years and ate at the restaurant and got into the club free as per normal, it doesn't make a difference.

Il Vaticano in San Antonio is definately my favourite. Not that expensive but the nicest food I have tasted anywhere.
