Since we won't have a car i'm thinking of taking my girl to dinner before clubbing...

any good restaurants near Space and Amnesia???

what prices should we expect???

how easy will be to head to the clubs afterwards???

i didnt see anything too special near space, i mean theyre are lots of places to eat but i dont know if your trying to wake her to a nice meal or something.. but you can always go to ibiza town or the harbour and find some where that might suit you there than take a taxi back to space wich should only be 5 or 6 euro

for space...not many really nice restaurants in PDB unfortunately IMO. you might give nassau beach, la sal rossa or jimmy's coco beach (all on the beach towards the south end of PDB) a try. else, head into town and there's loads of nice restaurants.

for amnesia...the closest one is las dos lunas, which i never went and heard it's scaringly expensive. then in san rafael, you have el ayoun and l'elephant (both upmarket as well) and my advise would be can pilot!

that's the ones i can think of just now...any more?

what about the new restaurant on the right hand side just passed the massive gift shop.La Sirena.its on the corner don;t remember its name.but looks very posh indeed.in pdb.only 4 mins up the road from space.

you may find it better eating near space.cause if you get a taxi from anywhere esle.depends what time you go to space?.you will be in a jam.and the meter is still running.

Within walking distance of Space is Moorea's. It's in the Jet complex. I've had some very tasty meals there in the past.

Went there twice recently. I really liked the food there. They do all the grilling at the front near the path. It was the grilling that drew me in.

cannot go wrong eating there.fresh food cooked just how you like it.and a nice bottle of wine to wash it down.

oh yes - this grilling smells so good ... one of the very very very few places in pdb
where you can get really tasty food and not cheap unhealthy crap
like they serve almost everywhere else.
this openair-grill is fantastic, smells always very good and it´s nice sitting outside
under this nice wooden roof, drinking, eating and watching the people passing by ...

sorry to hi-jack, but is there anywhere good to eat around the san antonio area(not overly expensive). the only place we found last year was a restaurant along the sea front where the taxi boats sit, and where the taxi rank is. think it had red plastic seat outside(if anyone knows its name). was nice but after a week eating in it last year id love a change.
anyone help!:)

Tapas? Go to Cafe Babel. Top of the West End, turn left and one block along. Tell Diego Buckley sent you8)

who's diego buckley? i love your directions, they're a sign of the secular times we live in. i always say it's in front of the church!

Rincon de Pepe is good too - low prices and nice tapas, just near the taxi rank in San An.

There is a really good local spanish restuarant, great food and about 15 euros a head.
The trouble is, I can't remember it's name.
But if you are coming into Playa den Bossa from the Ibiza end off the main highway, it's a couple of hundred metres on the right hand side on the road that goes into PDB from the roundabout. There are a bunch of tables outside on a raised patio.
They do a much better than average menu del dia for 9 euros. Good wine too, definately good enough to acheive a merry pre Space buzz without breaking the bank.

Next time i go past I'll post it's name.

There's also a new beach bar and restuarant opened up in PDB, it looks a bit more upmarket, similar to Jockey Club.
About 5 mins along the beach from Bora Bora, to the right if you are looking at the sea.
KM5 has great food, but not sure if it is open during the afternoon.
Elephant and Al Ayoun both have great food are are pretty close to Amnesia.
Expect to pay about 75 euros a head at both these. More if you are hitting the cocktails.
