I have already done a search on Spotlight but the restaurants weren't suitable..

So.....

It is for a crowd of people, so I want something quite lively with good music. I would like somewhere with a cosy feel, and none of this canteen, hear what everyone is saying type of place.
Nothing too expensive probably between £15-20 for main meal.
Food wise anything but Indian, Chinese or Italian. Preferably in Central London, near Kings Cross the better. Anything resembling Bambhudda Grove or KM5 would be fantastic

not sure there is too much of that about in Kings Cross love

london's trendy Primrose Hill is 15 mins from kings cross and there are some great restaurants.

The Engineer is a sw@nky GastroPub with a garden
Limonia is the nicest Greek/Cypriot food in town
Troika for Russian
Manna is a very expensive, classy veggie eaterie
