Restaurant news & reviews

further news on Bar San Juan looking for new owner. Is it a listed building?

Hi Guys,
Looking at a recommendation for a meal in Ibiza Town to celebrate a special occasion?
We have 1 member with celiac disease so Gluten Free would be ideal!
Thanks in advance.

I've just seen the last Cova Santa announcement, so, no WooMoon this year?

Was considering WooMoon this year, and potentially doing the restaurant but now not so sure. Has anyone done the restaurant and is it worth it for a group of 4? And what is "cave experience"???

Access to the cave, usually with a theatrical element like a sound ceremony.

The restaurant is very good, and because it's on top of the dancefloor, you don't feel like you miss out on any of the action. The price does bite though

This is a personal view only, but I think Cova Santa is the most overpriced restaurant in the world! I am sorry, it is NOT a Michelin Star 1, 2 or 3 restaurant, but charges similar prices. Ibiza now has La Gaia, Es Terral that are genuinely world class. I am sorry, Cova Santa charging €60-70 for a Crab Salad is not in the league of the aforementioned.

Any tips how to do Lio next summer as a newbie? I know it will cost, but as a 45y I think I am finally willing to pay some extra for a good entertainment while dining. But how to do it cost-wisely and how much to invest?

I will take a look at those thanks. Las Dos Lunas another one worth a look? The idea for Cova Santa was to be in amongst it as @W_I_C said, but don't wanna pay ££££ if it's not all that

Its been a couple of years since we went. Yes, its pricey, l remember €45 for a caesar salad.. l think about €350 for us both, maybe more, but the show was brilliant l have to say. Plus it rolls in to the club until 6am. They place you in different areas depending on your party size but you still have a good view of the show. Anyone we have sent to it has loved the evening. Get dressed up, people watch and make a night of it.. Bring the cheque book ;)

Dos Lunas is nice before Amnesia. Bit on the expensive side but sitting outside is beautiful and food is pretty good. Portions most of the time are big

Berasategui closes his restaurant in Bless Hotel

Ah man, didn't manage to make it to this.
