there is a scooter rental shop every 500 metres round the entire length of san an bay. take your license.

I personally would advise against it- the tarmac on the roads is a different compound to that here in the UK- much shinier giving much less grip. Add to that the tiny wheels on a moped and you only need a few spots of rain or a patch of sand/dust and that's the end of your holiday.
