Reliability of ferries.

Hello everyone,

SVP!! just how reliable is the Barcelona - Ibiza ferry service?

I need to be back at Barcelona Franca station for 20H30 @ the latest but the ferry leave's Ibiza @ 10H00 and thus arrive's @ 19H00 in Barca, but is this alway's the case?? I realise that not everything is perfect & that delay's can happen but is the trasmeditterranea service a relible for leaving & arriving on time?? Thank's in advance for any help.

To the admin's i wish not to continue using this ID name as i feel it's not appropriate for such a forum, how can i go about changing it, thank's.

Transmediterranea it's reliable, and the port it's not far from Estació de França but... it all depands on the sea, the wind and the weather in general, you can arrive earlier thanks to the wind but so you can arrive late

your confidence has helped make my mind up and yes it's true about the weather condition's playing a part in a situation concerning departure & arrival time's. The website company i've booked through sold me the ticket's @ 88,20 euro's return which is considerably alot cheaper than other website's i've visited.

I'll be staying @ Camping Cala Nova , though the last time i was their i nearly drowned (caused by strong under current's) in the bay surrounding Cala Nova but ofcourse i was rescued by a beautiful mermaid .
