All we can say is dont go there !!!

The rooms were filthy, toilet black beneath the water line, kitchen utensils covered with mould, all the cupboards smelt fusty. The bed linen was dirty, the pillows mouldy, the wardrobe fusty. The cleaners do not clean your room, you are expected to wash the floors your self, make your own beds,(which we usually do anyway) sheets only changed once in a fortnight.Pool dirty, mouse found in the pool staff got it out in a pringles box, then said the children could go back in.

All in all a horrible place. We will definatley go back to Playa d~bossa but no way will we stay at the same apartments.P S The rep did not want to know he would'nt even find us another room all he could offer was if we paid £180 each we could move.Dont go there!!

My/Our Holiday Opinion:

Apartments were clean, spacious and ideal for 3 occupants. Bread, milk and water on arrival was very much appreciated. Davids welcome meeting was very informative. All staff at The Regina were helpful, very pleasent and always polite. The bar-b-q is not to be missed, excellant value. Pool area cleaned every morning and plenty of lilos/rubber rings for every one. We never had any problems getting a sun bed, no matter what time of day. The appartments were close enough to all bars, entertainment and beach (about 10 mins walk) but far enough away that you didn't here to much noise.

The beach in Playa Den Bossa is OK, but it is worthwhile hiring a car and finding some of the many coves that are dotted around Ibiza's coast.

My/Our Holiday Opinion:

Playa den bossa is a brilliant resort and i'd definately goe back, but i'd being staying at different apartments.

Regina park apartments were in my opinion rubbish! The pool and sunbed area was quite nice, but the inside of the apartments were a let down, and on my arrival felt uneasy about going to sleep after discovering that the pillow on my bed was stained...charming hey!

Over all the apartments would have been alright, had it not been for some extremely rude staff.

My/Our Holiday Opinion:

i would strongly reccomend that you steer clear of this place.the manager is a consistently rude man, the bins were not emptied nor the sheets changed for the holiday duration.the bar charges excessive prices for inferior goods.

the rooms are poorly equipped (not even a radio ), and we were kept up till 4 in the morning on 3 occasions by noise from the pool area below despite the fact that the bar closes at 2!the only redeeming factor was the excellent young rep david, who did all he could to rectify the problems.i am not a serial moaner, but this really is the wost hotel i have ever stayed in and i have travelled quite a bit.

finally, the resort is ok, but pretty limited for things to do.if you have young kids,i would consider another resort such as portinatx or es cana (both much much nicer).. you have been warned......

My/Our Holiday Opinion:

First Impressions of the Regina Park Apartments were not good, but that was due to the fact of being dropped off in the middle of the night about 200 yards from the apartments because the coach cannot drive drive the small road. We were lucky, we had a rep to escort us, but other arrivals were not so fortunate and were pointed in the general direction to walk by the coach driver.

We stayed in a one bedroomed apartment, which was clean and comfortable. It was just about the right size for a family, but I think it would get cramped with 4 adults staying. The two bedroomed apartments though were a very good size.

Each apartment has a kettle and toaster provided, but air-conditioning is available from 9 Euros a day for one bedroom and 12 Euros a day for two. But being typically English we decided not to pay for it and sweated the nights out, although I slept more on the balcony (so did many others) than in the apartment.

A nice touch by the manager of the apartments is to have a loaf of bread, carton of milk and a bottle of water waiting for you on your arrival. OK you can't make a meal out of it, but the water went down a treat.
The pool is small but is just right for the size of the apartments, and the best thing is that there is no getting up early to put the towel on your sunbed. There are plenty to go around and not once in 14 days did my family have to 'reserve' one. Also for the first time we never had to buy a lilo, as there were quite a few left by families returning home.
Because the actual building is more-or-less enclosed, it creates quite a close-knit community feel about it. All the children play together in the pool which gives us, the parents, a bit or R&R.
The bar closes at 2am, and during our stay quite a few families returned back to the apartments for a night-cap around midnight, but it always ended up a drinking session, but everyone got to know everyone which made the lounging by the pool all day a lot more pleasurable as people socialised with each other a lot more rather than just nodding to each other.

My kids couldn't wait to get back to the apartments of a night to play with their new found friends, and there were many tears as each family left during our stay.

The staff at the Regina Park are very friendly and extremely approachable, it does help that two of them are English.
The food is expensive in the apartments, as a consequence we only purchased a plate of chips every now and then.
Drinks are just above average price at the bar.

The Regina Park Apartments are very well situated, only 5-10 minute walk from all the pubs, shops, restaurants etc etc, so you never hear any music of a night. Although the local spanish bar on the corner of the road where you get dropped off and picked up can get 'lively' on a Saturday.
Only a 10 minute drive from the airport does mean a load of aircraft noise constantly. One night I thought a plane was actually crashing into the apartments as the noise was so loud. But you get used to it after a day or so.
To round this piece off, The Regina Park is a very good 2 key rating hotel. I would recommend families to go there, we all had a great time, we all made friends and phone numbers and emails addresses were swopped all the time.
The resort itself, we found slightly disappointing (that is our view, others found it great). Prices for food and drink varied from place to place.

One place to go to though is "Uno's", a bodega bar and the cheapest drink anywhere, people virtually sit on top of each other for the cheap booze.
The is a lot of un-finished building work in Playa den Bossa and in a few years time the resort will have probably doubled in size.
Even though we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks there, I can't see us returning there, once was enough.
