Records stores in Ibiza...

Hi,

Anyone know of any good record shops on the Island selling deephouse/Afrobeat and a bit of Disco. Never been to Island going in late July. Also, any Deephouse nights in smaller clubs? Had a look a the party calender and don't see any of the Dj's I know.

Mega Music and Plastic Fantastic in San An are pretty good.

More in Eivissa but those are the two I used when out there.......
 
Depends what you mean by 'Deep House' really.

Check the Zenith store in Ibiza Town if it's still about. Picked up some gems there last year.

regarding Deep House I'd sway towards the likes of Kerri Chandler, Ron Trent any Needs stuff. The kind a Afro Beat stuff I like would Osunlade, Joe Clausell. I had a look at the party calender and no sign of any of those Dj's although Francois K (I'm a big fan) is playing a day after I leave the Island. By the way, I've never been to Ibiza before. Should I posting here?

Cool. Spose I'm a little less soulful, but you'll probably dig the stuff in there.

Picked up some decent JT Donaldson/Demarkus Lewis/Lance DeSardi stuff in that store last year...
 
thanks again for your help guy's... How much are we talking for 12inch... In dublin you'd pay €11.99 for tunes max. These would be German and USA imports. UK releases a little cheaper at €6.99.
Any know how much it is for Space on Sunday 18th? Grandmaster Flash is playing!!!! Anyone see him before?
