Anyone used these? Ive read that they make a "scene" at the check in desks if you don't take the excess cover?
Any experiences good/bad please:)

We used them in Majorca this year ... got stung for €320 after someone tried to break into the car with a screwdriver and made tiny scratch ... probably par for the course with the lower end of car hire firms ... probably best if you take out the excess cover from UK firm at home/on line
 
Cheers man, I thought as much.
I ended up booking with Budget tonight for our July trip and paid £120 more, but it's worth the extra. I always take out my own excess ins. Thanks anyway
