can anyone recommend a hotel in both barcelona and madrid? ideally, each one needs to be near their cities respective airports, city centres and both the nou camp and the santiago bernabeu...

i'm in barcelona for 3 nights and madrid for 2 nights and trying to keep it to no more than £130 for the barcelona hotel and £100 for the madrid hotel..

suggestions will be welcome!! :D

Ric, in Madrid the bernabeu is north of Madrid city centre and can easily be accessed via the Metro as a side-trip. The airport is also connected via the Metro from the city centre. It's cheap and quick. If you want to be near other stuff (restaurants, cafes etc) for the rest of your stay (the nights are long in Winter!) maybe somewhere in town is best ?

In Barcelona, the airport (if it's El Prat you're going into and out of) is also connected with the city via Metro and the Nou Camp is easily accessed using the tube too (Maria Cristina L3). If you're there for 3 nights maybe somewhere near Las Ramblas/Port area in town would be a thought ?
