Reading - Rachels Holiday - Marion Keyes

I remember some of the girlies here saying about reading this and what a great read it was so on that note I bought it about a month ago - I am absolutely gripped, I feel like I have been through the journey with her whilst reading it.

I still have about another 4 chapters to go (I reckon) but thanks for the recommendation girls. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this!

I also have Marions new one to read after :p

I havent read anything worth mentioning lately....perhaps I´ll have to stoop to an all time low and buy the Chantelle bio :roll: :roll: 8O :lol:

Any recommendations?

I actually meant Rachels Holiday for Ibiza Lou but very funny that tickled me 8)

I know people that knew her from her Wickford days - apparantly she is that silly....................................

I LOVE that book, the first time I read it I thought I was reading about me :? :lol:

Yeah I like her cos she writes about people that are a bit funked up - I don't like traditional chicklit (girl meets boy, boy is in love with another girl, boy and girl live happily ever after or whatever :roll: ) but I like her cos her books have a bit of a twist.

What about Emily Barr - do you like her?? Or Faith Bleasdale??

Yeah me too I am the same - I dont necessarily like all this mushy stuff. Real life is not like that after all!

I dont think I have read any by Emily Barr or Faith Bleasdale but would be interested in checking them out.

I also have The Devil Wears Prada to read - seen the film but heard that the book is slightly different.
 
Just been a geek and checked on the net what Adele Parks I had read - it was going to buy me otherwise and I am useless with names - read Husbands, Still thinking of you and finished Game Over recently - this one was very funked up. But gripping.

I spotted there is a new one out on the 26th April - called Young Wives Tales.

My recommendation is wait 6 months and buy her updated bio when she describes dealing with her marriage breakdown to Preston...... Oh My God! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
