Random Thread: Where Love Lives... John Lewis Advert

I have not completely lost the plot! So bear with me...

A little bit of a off topic story, but for those of you in the UK will know that the John Lewis advert at Christmas is like THE ADVERT that gets the most attention! Putting aside that us Brits are just weird - it is a fact.

Anyway, this year the song is "Where Love Lives by Alison Limerick" and the story about a Dad putting the vinyl on and being transported back to his clubbing days. [Update: The vinyl will be sold exclusively through Rough Trade at John Lewis, with Limerick’s original version taking side A and Labyrinth's new version side B]

Do not be surprised if this song ends up in Top 10 again, or even No1 in the charts...

Just happens to be the song that does remind me of Ibiza so much.

I know pains me to say it too but I love it.

I think most guys roll their eyes every year that people actually talk about a bloody Xmas advert… so what do they do… aim it at every 30+ man.

Whoever came up with this I bow to them.

Talk of the office this morning. One chap said he got teary (doesn't have kids but close young family members ) another woman it did not land (two adult kids) me...jury out from first view on my phone Maybe if I watch it after a heavy weekend I'll be an emotional wreck.

Love the track, no doubt I will bump into my son at a music event when he is' of an age' - probably to his embarrassment until he taps me up for beer money
