my mallorca jaunt last week included a successful trip to ikea which was full of stuff that i wanted at prices that i could afford. we weren't the only ibbies there either - a well known tall cricket captain was also in there and had obviously been before!
on a quick day trip his modus operandi was to smother his people carrier in super glue and drive at high speed throught the kitchen and bathroom sections and hey presto, 3 kitchens and 2 bathrooms fitted out for next to nothing in the twinkling of an eye!
on a more sedate note we visited an olive oil factory (soller, our base is famous for its fab olive oil and oranges) where this little old lady showed us how it has been produced there since 15 nought plonk. the only change is that they now have leccy to drive the presses.
i've put a little slideshow of the wonderful scenery of the sierra tramuntana at the bottom of my blog if anyone cares to look
