I had to go in August one year cos I had no choice, selfish people getting married in June and September![]()
and we were there for Radio One wkend and never again for me

There are loads of beer boys around, everywhere is really rammed, you can't get a taxi etc etc. Ok you can hear the likes of Judge Juleson the beach but that's not really going to swing it for me

Imo there's loads better times to go to Ibiza.

OK, since I came back from the island in Aug 2002, I've read lotsa posts about beerboys, Radio 1 weekend and all the drunken idiots out and about... to this day, I think I recall seeing one or two of them. Radio 1 weekend was an absolute blast in 2002, didn't see anyone throwing up, didn't see women being harrassed, just saw a whole lot of ppl enjoying some great music with kickin partiers and a spectacular atmosphere. Maybe, I missed something for the 2 weeks I was there, but I did stay in San An and was in the town for most of my hols and I didn't come across
a lot of these ppl.
I suggest give Radio 1 weekend a try. If you hate it, leave as it doesn't cost you anything to see what it's all about anywayz. I personally believe mindset is 85% of the time you'll have. If you go in expecting some drunken rowdies being morons, you'll spend more of your time looking for them. If you go there to party, you'll party!
Cheers,
Terry (Coming back for Radio 1 Weekend this year)
