Radio One - Tong moves to Thurs, Annie Mac to Fri?

Anyone heard any more?

Tong is doing some "In New Music We Trust" show - is this alongside the Essential Selection, or as a replacement?
 
I really hope this isnt true. BBC have already really upset me by getting rid off Fergie in mid September..

No more "Happy Days" "Where du get it" :(
 
Annie Mac is best DJ on Radio One. In New Music We Trust is crap, that's what Giles Peterson did before isn't it? All diverse crap music. Havn't heard anything about that change though, and I'm it long enough. I hope not, I like Annie on a Thursday evening.
 
Crappa dappa doo dah. Radio One's decision making is unbelievable at times. An hour on Sunday and a crappy two hour slot late on Friday which I'll never hear coz I'm out. Listen again it is then. Loads more effort though.

Again odd decisions from the bbc.

And how on earth can the Trophy Twins do shows at 4am on both saturday and sunday morning.. I do like them but dont they have gigs to play somewhere?? Will probably be all pre-recorded shows

oh, Just seen Eddie Halliwell is on thursday nights, thats good to see8)

the first hour of the Essential Selection is always the accesible hour for those still tuned in from Scott Mills though. Cant see the attraction of giving that ****er anymore airtime though.
 
Looking on the plus side, no more friggin Westwood on a Friday night!! Also I would bet that Mills will play commercial dance stuff from 6 -7 pm
