quite place to stay

hi,

me and my friends r thinking of goin ibiza in sept. i just wanted to know, r there any quite (ish) places to stay.

we r gonna be goin clubbin, etc... but we also want some relaxation. cos we bin workin all year, and just want to chill for a couple of days.

at the moment, i'm considering booking hotel arenal, (san antonio bay).

any advice?

i was at the arenal a few weeks back and it was okay, on the good side, its only a couple of hundred yards from bar M and the town and its right on the beach, on the down side, its a family hotel who wont tolerate any noise on an evening. one side of the hotel fronts the promenade which can get noisey during the night with people passing (that probably wont affect you as youll be out, on the other side is the main road which is busy so you will get no sleep during the day from scooter boys and boy racers.

Rooms are decent though but food is a bit naff

Agreed, I always stay there due to its location and price. It is more family orintated but in some ways thats not a bad thing when staying in San An, stayed in an a hotel a few years ago that had 18-30s staying there and had lads next door banging out some really cheesy crap at all hours, much better not using the hotel that much apart from getting your head down for a few hours to recharge imo.
