Quick question...

Could someone tell me please what Ibiza is like over the Easter weekend. Basically are the main stores open ie. furniture stores or is everything closed due to fiestas or the like??

I'ts bank holiday:
saturday
Sunday
and I'm not sure if the previous friday and thursday or only friday and monday

thursday 13th - jueves santo
friday 14th - viernes santo

and on saturday most workers will get the day off too so, even if the furniture stores are open all year round, i reckon that saturday you wont find any open!!

if you're coming in on a quick trip to buy furniture and household goods you might want to consider flying in on easter sunday. that way you can relax on the day you arrive and hit the shops on the monday which is like a normal day here. remember that we still have a siesta period from 1.30 to 5 ish!!!
some shops may even be able to deliver your purchases on the same day (it happened to us) but some you may have to wait weeks for.
