Met a girl on holiday and had the best week ever with her. She lives in Ireland (im in Scotland). Supposed to be seeing her again in a few weeks.

Q: You think I should just leave it, cause I know I'll just want her more if I see her again, then will prob end up hurt cause of the distance? Or just go see her and have a great weekend?

Over to you.....

I would see her and have a great weekend darlin'...

Spending a week with her (in the throws of tropical paradise and debauchery, I might add lol) is not enough time to get to know her. Have another "best week" and take it from there is my advice :P You never know what the future could hold, so to me the pain of missing each other might be worth it. :P

I like again :D I thought everyone would say it was just a holiday romance and get over it :D

Spoken every day since she left Ibiza. Am I just missing her though cause I'm on a comedown, and should just wisen up? :?

To me thats for the bitter ol' skeptics :P Well fergs, you know I am a true romantic at heart and I think opportunities should be seized and explored when they arise :D

Remember that you were in la la land for a lot of your trip my dear lol. Not everything is as it seems. Now you will have a chance to be with her in a state of normality... go in with an open mind because it could be different... better or worse... than you remembered. Have fun sweetheart 8)

Go see her, it may help you both decide if you want to take it further being on home soil.

Ours was a holiday romance and 16 years 8O later we're as mad about each as the first week we met.

It was difficult as we lived in different cities, but luckily she grew up in Sheffield and was sick of London so couldn't wait to come back.

;)

I like this advice, think I may go see her in a few weeks then. Will have to get some cash together though, spent all my money in Ibiza in the first 3 days :?

Maybe I'm just getting carried away, but she really was special. Just wish the distance wasnt so far

Hi..keeping in line with my random posts, I'd like to throw my 2 cents/pennies in on this one & agree that you should for sure give it a shot...it's not like it's that easy to meet people in the old fashioned ways anymore....and it worked for Drew and his missus (congrats by the way). Everyone needs a bit of romance in their lives... ;)

A few weeks!! Shame on you!

When i met the g/f, she cut her 3 months holiday short - flew back to Heathrow, tube to her flat, re-packed, off to St Pancras and up to Sheffield - 2 DAYS AFTER i flew back.

Honestly, you should go see her while your feelings are quite fresh, otherwise i think you'll miss the boat.

I simply cant afford to mate :? Was planning on spending around £600 last week, but had to eventually stretch with loans way past that mark :?

Gonna have to wait a few weeks to see how she feels ;)

Do it, do it, do it :D

Look at me and Tom, we met in Ibiza over 6 years ago, I can't think of a better place to meet your loved one ;)

If you don't you'll always be thinking 'what if??'
