Plenty of markets around most of the big resorts.

If your staying over to the west there is a supermarket on the main road into San An.

Does anyone know about the possibilities in San Antonio, are there markets or the like? I'm not at all into frozen foods :(

there's an indoor market in san an which sells fresh meat, fish, and vegetables. as you go towards the sunset strip there is a 'farmers market. which sells local vegetables and flowers.

ps:
there is a nice tapas-bar inside the market ("mediterraneo 2") .

thanks icey. i think the moral of your story is 'don't leave personal/valuable belongings in your car' rather than 'don't visit the market.'
