Question about Pacha, London

We're going NYE now, but my sis and her chap are strict drinkers only. What the mix of people there likely to be between drinkers and 'non-drinkers'?

I've tried to be as circumspect as poss about this.

I know it's supposed to be posey but it's a one-off, somewhere we all want to try.

I go alot there, to Kinky, and I'm not a poser, and I wouldn't class my friends who go as posers either, so its not just strictly for posers :roll:

I'm guessing the atmosphere of the night will depend on the club-night that takes it over.

I've been to Hed Kandi and Dusted there, and it's been a bit posey, and not too good in terms of atmosphere.

But since its TYPE hosting it on NYE, it should be awesome!

Nicely said my dear!

It's not the posey thing I'm bothered about, just how messy it'll be. They get a bit bored if everyone around them is out of it - not so much my sis as her chap, who is a big drinker. They did do 8 hours on the terrace at Space (easy to enjoy yourself there though whatever your poison - or not).
 
I was there on Saturday night - I found it a good mix of spannered and non-spannered to be honest - I couldnt tell the difference. The atmosphere was fine - friendly and a good laugh. I certainly wouldnt say it was full of poseurs at all, I spent my night between the dancefloor and VIP........ quite the opposite in fact..... nice atmosphere in both.

Type, with Mr. Fontaine. We've just got the tickets. We're coming down NYE day and back up to the frozen north on the Monday. I've a lot of friends live in Lahndahn and Essex, although I see some of them more than I see my family.

P-L, sounds good to me. I'll put it to them and see what they think.

I'm sure you'll have a good time mate. It's not top of my list of London clubs but I had a good time when I went for Renaissance there.

Sorry I didn't mean the club itself attracts posers but the nights they stage there (mainly the A-list and Hed Kandi events) attract a lot of people who aren't necessarily there for the music. No offence intended.
 
None taken mate, I soon stopped taking offence when children began to point at me and laugh, which happens only too often. :cry: ;)

Every event held @ Pacha is different.

Hed kandi : yes poser styleeee
kinky: happy goodlooking crowd, met a few stuck up girls but generally good.But only been to one so...
Fused:only went once,crowd was rather chavie,alot more drinkers.
Dusted: good happy crowd.

Thats just my view...but every night will be different you cant guarentee any club wont have chav's or posers *shrug*

A very nice venue though if havent been before. ;)
