Hey Dirk
We been rinsing the first one of these from Sept on the Sonos - I meant to ask what the track was at/around 32mins??
Will give the new one a listen :)

Do you make your own tunes Dirk ?

I had an old hardware set up for years (Cubase, Akai Sampler and Korg Keyboard) now purely software. I have made a few things for private use, but I am getting my shit together and going to make time to see what I can do with a bit more focus. You?

Yes, make one a month

There is no money in tunes, unless of course you make the commercial top 15 ( radio 1 etc ) .

I have had some signed, but I don't do it for that, I make them purely because Iam lucky enough to be able to and TBH for fun, I pinch myself sometimes, one was played at the MOS the other week and a few on a London House Music radio station

But I always say it just takes one tune, what I mean by that is, take Eats for example, no one knew who he was until The Entrance Song....now look at him.

We may have different views on virtually everything , but good luck, dont get down...it's a very tough business

The Eats everything story is a great one. He's really humble and often states he considers himself very fortunate to be where he is today. Plus he's a great bloke and will even take time to reply to messages personally.
ps. I'm willing to take on any promos you might have. My Dj ing is hopefully going to the next level over the winter months!!

It would be boring if everyone had the same opinion

Send me a link to some of your stuff. Agree, only takes one tune. I just like playing & listening to music and if I ever strike lucky, great. That isn't what it is about for me, but if course I wouldn't say no!

Whats your set up? Very impressed you have had something played at MOS.

Man of many talents!

I think I have sent you a PM, I've only ever received them so not sure.

Let me know your thoughts on the tune
