PVD...

I had a choice of seeing PVD or sorting my sock drawer out.

My socks are so tidy.

God damn, I have to buy you a beer. I told a m8, I'd rather get vd, than hear PVD, :D

Saw PVD last night at GK. Quite dissapointing to be honest with you. I am a massive fan of the great man but he wasn't up to his old tricks at all last night. Not as Euphoric as usual, a bit techy in places and none of the massive anthems that he normally drops every half an hour or so. I still have faith in him however as he has been amazing every other of the 4 time I have seen him. Just hope he sorts it out for Amnesia this summer. It's normally the highlight of my year. Fingers crossed.

I saw him at Gods Kitchen too and I was really happy with him, and yes it was quite techno-ish in places but that suits me fine, I don't always like to hear what I expect...Jon O'Bir played it trancey enough
Anyway roll on Friday at Heaven for another PVD session, I can't wait!!! :D

It's all down to personal preferance isn't it? One mans water is another mans wine and so on. Personally, I like PVD but I don't think he's in the same league as Tiesto or AVB.

But that's just me.

PVD was one of my all time favourite DJs years ago but the last time i saw him play i wasn't @ all impressed.... i think 4 me though it's got more 2 do with the "sound' of the music that they are playing these days....

Being into funky house, i thought i'd just say i've seen him a few times, and each time his mixing and tune selection have been spot on.
The highlight was hearing him at Gatecrasher a couple of years ago, when he played a six hour set, and he did actually manage to keep me away from the funky house room for about 5 hours!!!
And i was as clean a whistle!! He played a massive set.
But haven't heard him for a while (apart from tapes of him from Home and New Casino, Berlin which still get a play) ;)

I went into the trance arena for PVD at last years Coloursfest - no trance, just bishing and boshing

Think i lasted about 3 minutes

Not my thing anymore - sorry :?

I find with PvD that he's not predictable like some DJ's. One night you might hear him play lots of deep techy stuff and other nights it will be really euphoric trance. Guess it just depends what kinda music you like and how open-minded you are. Nearly always does it for me though. 8)

He's also playing a 3 hour set at passion in a couple of months will be my first time seeing him too !!!!

far too busy, i'm pretty sure there were illegal numbers of people there, but didn't stop me having a wicked time, danced all night, enjoyed bein sober for once ;) pvd's set was wicked, my favourite tune of the night probably envio - touched by the sun played by hardwick. although when pvd played satellite i was close to tears cos i was so happy :D
