Pure Techno - Be at Space 2010

So far we've got a Berghain/Panorama Bar night, Surgeon And Joey Beltram at Space and Slam and Technasia playing a foam party at Eden.

Ibiza never fails to surprise :D

Where is the crazy Tom Novy?!
He left We Love for BE, but what now?
One of the few dj's who were able to fire up the sunset terrace at We Love...

M.A.N.D.Y set time????

Ok we land in Ibiza at 2.10 a.m on Sat 14th August we are gonna make an attempt to get to Be@ Space but only if mandy are on last .... now is there anyway I can find out or has anyone been to this night this year? Or can give me an educated guess as to when they will be on? I know Dubfire came on at like 5a.m when I went last year hmmmm help anyone???

Hard to say as it's starting at 6pm on Friday 13th August as part of the birthday...

of the candidates, my guestimate would be
Francois K - peak time (1-4am)
Booka Shade - peak time (1-4am)
M.A.N.D.Y. - potentially last set
Wally Lopez - earlier
Sébastien Léger potentially last set
System of Survival - earlier
there doesn't look like enough DJs for a 6pm start (i realise my list isn't ALL of them)....presumably discoteca won't open till midnight or someit....

Be@Space. Any good?

I haven't heard much about this party and it doesn't get a lot of mentions on Spotlight. I'm into techno and I'm planning on doing We Love/DC10/Cocoon, but they're annoyingly crammed into Sundays and Mondays and I'm after a night to go to a bit later in the week. I'm thinking of going to the closing party on the 24th with Ben Sims and Surgeon.

Has anyone been to Be? Is it busy? What's the atmosphere/people like?

We are considering the Surgeon and Sims night. Not heard any reviews of the night though.

It is one of the few places where you will get a free drink if you buy a online tickets from spotlight.

We went last Friday (27th of Aug) and were pretty disappointed for a number of reasons. First of all, we bought tickets online on here, as they were advertising John Digweed. When we got to Ibiza, guess what, no one knew about Digweed and none of the posters around the island advertised him. We went anyway and the music was pretty dull - the main room had Wally Lopez and then Pascal FEOS (both pretty dull) and the other room was only half full. Everyone on the island said the night is not great, there was nothing special about it. I guess it's the equivalent of a "filler" for Space. I don't know how successful it is commercially (they are charging 48 Euros mind you so it can't be that bad!!) but between going to this or taking a quiet night in Ibiza, I'd go for the quiet option. Save your money for a bigger and better night.

Edit - by quiet I mean a night that doesn't involve clubbing. You could even stay at Bora Bora or Ushuaia (beach bar about 20 mins walk from Space). I should also say that Ushuaia closes at midnight.

I saw Radio Slave on 20 Aug and was impressed.... BUT.... This night just misses something. The atmosphere is just not there. Not sure what it is but Friday just never kicks off....

I thought Kehakuma was 10 Times better! And after We Love and Cocoon Kehakuma is the next best night in my book.
