Has anyone been to Punta Galera lately? Was there the other day (for the first time ever on a rough sea day, very different but nice) and was quite shocked to see that all the Buddhas have disappeared. Quite sad to realize how no place is safe from vandalism.
1 was really big and there were several smaller ones. I'm not 100% sure but I think they were made of sandstone (if "sandstone" even exists in English )
I don't think so, first of all I can't imagine the authorities to clim over the rocks to get there plus you can still see pieces of some of the statues, that was clearly vandalism.
