punkabaret privilege

havnt seen any reviews for this clubnight that took over from manumission at privilege, so i went along last week and arrived at 3am. the place was empty, worse still the stage show was very bad in fact it was embarressing.
both smaller rooms and the balcony was closed and the down stairs had about 500 people, not many in a 10000 capacity club. very disapointing
we was given free wristbands on the beach, bvut when we turned up it was 20 euros to get in.
so we walked down to amnesia which was packed to the rafters for cocoon,:spank: :spank: :spank:

Cant go wrong with Cocoon at Amnesia!!! I havent seen Punkabaret but from what i heard, read etc. Its not to flash.

Thanx for the information on it!! :) While i was in Ibiza the locals were telling me the only good night at Priv is Manumission. But that has been changed to a Friday, for some reason. Which leaves alot of good choices open, DC10, Pacha and Cocoon for Monday Night.

Oh and those wrist bands are a load of Sh*t!!! I didnt fall for the trick because id heard from alot of people before hand not to go if you get one. Unless of course its Space Session afterparties etc, which are free!

Even the wristbands there were handing out for the Space day-clubs weren't free. Bit of a con, really.

I got into a after party for free with one of the wrist bands :eek: hmmm. Guess the colours represent if its free or if its a discount.
 
I actually really enjoyed punkaberet as when we got in x-press 2 came on (4 am) and smashed the place to bits with their 6-deck show...not busy enough for sure but as you rightly said the only night privilege is rammo is on a manumission night....I have a feeling that when Todd Terry and Masters @ Work are in town later this month it will also be packed.
