Tottenham Court Road is useless for bars/pubs, I used to meet a friend there after work cos it was convenient for us both and we used to end up in dingey northern pubs where I felt most at home but they hated

There's a few nice places on the Piazza near Covent Garden market where you can sit outside, they're often busy with tourists tho.

I know it's pants isn't it? I even checked on the Good Pub Guide, and none of the central London pubs got over 5 out of 10!!!

I think we'll probably have a browse around Covent Garden and find somewhere there

It's better to head away from the West End for nicer places and less busy.

There's a few places in Soho where you get a few outside tables, Boheme Bar and Kitchen on Old Compton Street does nice food and there's a few tables outside so if you're lucky you can watch the world go by. Plus it's also conveniently next to the popper shop so you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone

Not everyone likes poppers and pizza Babs  Thing is we're only going to have an hour coz we're going during lunch break. There's a couple of nice ones in Covent Garden I think, we'll have a wander down there ;)

Decent pubs in London please or go and make your own thread

Sorry Beckiboo you were absolutely right to intervene...it would've been a matter of time before this post descended into a pit of dirrrty, skeggy Vauxhalldom.

Babs - Harry is on standby and the kenwood will be powered up at 4am Sunday morning.

Oooh can't do clean on a Sunday morning!
