Psy Trance In Ibiza?

I'm wondering if there is anywhere that plays Psy Trance in Ibiza?

Not the cheesy crap that Tiesto, Armin Van Burren and co plays, proper Trance, it's wouldn't be my overall fav style of dance music but some of it is very good, pounding beats with weird landscape sounds, mental bleeps and distorted loops.
 
Along the same lines, can anyone tell me what sort of music Goa at Space is ? I´d hate to go and have it be anything other than Goa-Psy. :)

ps. you shouldnt come here for that sort of music dood! if you really wanna go to a great psy festival you should try heading to BOOM in portugal in august! ;) or israel (any time!)8)

Hi Jonny, i know EXACTLY the type of music you are referring to. I love it. It's NOT melodic trance like your speaking of (ie. Van Buuren), it's those pounding beats that is a cross between straight up trance, techno, and tech. The kind of music that if you were on something takes you to another realm. It's outer space music. Hard to find though. There is an artist called Ace Ventura if you like an example. Maybe not the best example but it's all over the psy-trance section of the Beatport website.

It would be amazing if Iboga records did a party here in Ibiza.
 
i dont think las dalias still has a psy party going at all. i have been looking, but unsuccessful.

I was really disappointed to miss GOA at Space last year. No so now.

I think with Psy music is only part of the "thing". Places like Glade festival make a show of the whole thing. I think this is true of Psy the world over. I'd quite easliy turn up at the local club and play a house set but when I get to play Psy I have to have the lighting, projections and effects rolled into the set.

Cant beat a bit of Eat Static ..... seen them live at The Wickerman festival last year and they blew me away!!! :twisted:
