Promo lists for DJs

Bio etc,
Flyers,
- but most importantly references from known promoters/club owners/producers. Ask Danny at Turnmills Mark.

Hyperactive seem to be the best bet at the moment. Not sure if/how much they charge though. If I can remember the details I'l let you know.

Give Matt at Hyperactive a call (0208 896 8200). If you're playing out regularly, you'll breeze onto their mailing list, although there's not a lot of good stuff about at the moment !!!
There's also White Noise and Power, although they're harder to get on.
If you play out twice a week, you'll definitely get on Power.

Used to be on Virgin's mailing list way back in the 70's, 'course I was the only resident Night Club DJ in my hometown back then. Now there are around 15 DJ's in the bars and clubs. There's obviously a lot more competition to get on mailing lists nowadays.
Could do with it myself, just found out last night I'm being headhunted for a predominately House music posh bar playing mainly vinyl. Worked there Christmas, NYE and Easter Bank hols. Must've left a hell of an impression as they already have 3 DJ's working different nights. 1 of them has packed in and they want me for all of it! 4 nights Thurs - Sunday. Just waiting for a concrete offer. Yay!
