Problem with passport and driving license?

Any other dual nationalities people? :)

I usually travel to Ibiza on my Canadian passport.. and hire a car with my Canadian driver's license.

Sometimes I travel on my British passport, but am wondering if, when I hire a car, I hand in my Canadian driver's license, but my British passport, that would be a problem?

I never thought it would be, but had a friend who just recently came back from holidays in France and Spain ( she was traveling on a European passport) and showing her Canadian license.

I can't imagine it being a problem..but can't remember if in previous years, what passport I traveled with....maybe things have changed too?
 
i can't remember what happened last time but don't you just show your licence anyway........so they wouldn't be concerned what your passport is.

anyway, even if they did want to see it, it would just be for ID so i'm sure it'd be no problem.

I enjoy worrying!! it builds up more excitement to the event etc..:lol: :lol:

I think I have always had to show my passport as well as the license!
