Private Villa Party

Anyone know if there's any laws or restrictions on having a private villa party in Ibiza? I've heard conflicting reports (it's ok to have under 30 people, no outside music after 11pm etc etc)

Anyone in the know?

as far as I know...

there are no restrictions as to for how many people you throw a party. if you do a wedding and have 200 people it's totally ok.
if the music is too loud anyone can denounce you at any time of day or night.

cue - just be sensible about it. your main priority is to make sure the police will not turn up. if you have neighbours, let them know beforehand (and if they aren't happy with what you tell them, better simply forget about the party). inviting them sometimes also helps then be sensible with sound volume generally. think about where people will park if they arrive with cars - that's another thing the police also gets angry at. you cannot ask entry and you cannot sell drinks or food. if you do and the police find out they'll fine you.
