Hi there...

One of my friends has been told that Ibiza is like £20 to get into a club, and £7/£8 a drink etc - is this true?

I've been told that somewhere like Magaluf is a cheaper and better place to go?

can I have your thoughts please

yes those prices are about right but you get what you pay for, better dj's far better clubs than magaluf, having been to both i think Ibiza is far better and if its just gettin hammered that your after just stick to the west end in San Antonio cheap booze all the way best of both worlds

there are 2 very different sides to ibiza...in san antonio town and san antonio bay..the average pint of beer is between 2.50 euros and 3.50euros and a double bacardi and coke about 4 to 5 euros and a 3 course meal between 9 euros and 12 euros...however if you want to go to the big clubs , you will be paying 30 to 40 euros entrance and 10 euros per any drink..magaluf is very similar prices..the exchange rate at the mo is about 1.40 euro to 1 british pound..

Magaluf has one big club that attracts big dj's, its called BCM and gets the likes of judge jules, dave pearce, tim westwood etc dunno what the price of going is.

Ibiza offers 7 or 8 superclub venues that each put on a selection worlds biggest djs every night. they are £15-35 to get in depends on the club, promoter and the time of year. drinks are expensive £4 for water and £6-10 for an alcoholic drink.

Ibiza also has, imo, 2 kinds of bars. bars that cater for people going to the big clubs; coastline, bar m, itaca etc. The second kind is your average mediterranian resort disco bars, redsident djs that play all night, playing more commercial music. Drinks offers, drunk english girls that are easy to pull etc etc Like in most med resorts, the way all of these bar are located in a small area you have ibiza's westend.

Personally I think if the disco/bar is the type of nightlife your after there are better, cheaper places to do it, benidorm, magaluf etc. The west end is a very grotty area indeed.
