Price of cigarettes in Ibiza

I don't smoke but my sister has asked me to bring her back a pack of either 200 B&H or 200 Embassy No. 1. Does anyone know how much this would cost, and whether I should get them at the airport or when I'm actually in Ibiza?

I was having a nosey in the Duty Free shop a couple of weeks ago and 200 Marlboro Lights were 44 Euros so they will be roughly the same i imagine

Tobacco prices are regulated in Spain. Current tabac prices can be found here :

I'd buy them in Ibiza rather than at the "Duty Free" personally. Never looked in Ibiza but in Madrid they were always cheaper in town than at the Airport.

The prices in that link are all over the place compared to the reality on the street.
I know it is regulated....but, recently payed 38.50 for a carton of Fortuna,about a week later 37.00 for the same in a different shop ? Other brands were definately more expensive also.
Something else that's different is that the tabac shops now seem to open on sundays.

Oh yeah,airport is always more!

Interesting - whereabouts was the shop that charged you 38,50 for a carton of Fortuna ? That's pretty steep for them !!!

Last 2 times I've been out there the prices on the link were within 25cents/packet of the price on the street on average. The prices do vary a bit in my experience but not much on the whole. Both price and price variance considerably better than over here in any case !!

Main thing is yes, everyone will agree - you'll pay considerably less buying them at a Tabac as opposed to at the airport.

Both shops were in Es Cana,not really tourist rip-off central !
I have always paid exactly the same everywhere, a bit more in a machine or under the counter obviously.

Don't diss Fortuna,there are plenty of cheaper and nastier cigs available.

No diss - got through a packet quite happily when vending m/chs out of my 'usual' one night - but they're locally manufactured and usually seemed quite a bit cheaper than Marlboros on the shelves in the tabacs. I paid only 38,50 Euro / carton for Marlboro red a couple of weeks ago in Cala de Bou.
