Price dropped this year on beers etc?

First glance through the Spotlight hotels guide shows the prices aren't much more than last year - they could hardly put them up as they need tourists. Hoping the hotels/hostals on formentera publish theirs soon, then I can get booked. Flight's sorted - happily before the price of fuel rockets - just waiting to book a room now. Or tent. Cardboard box. OK, a sleeping bag on the beach will do

I was there last weekend and a bottle of beer and glass of vino was only 3euro for the two in most bars in ibiza town and figueretes where we were stayin...Food was cheaper too.dearest meal we had came to 48euro including btl wine and some beers.Gona be hard to go over in summer to be ripped off.lol

that's not right craig. it's not like it's cheaper in the winter, it's just that you went to the wrong places in the summer ! !
try some of those bars again in the summer and you will see how you continue paying 1.50€ for each drink, etc.....
(btw, what about a teeny-weeny incy-wincy winter review?

yeah ill put up a little review soon.some of the bars i was in before and they are always cheap..its just there not many distractions this time of year with all the popular summer places closed..It was one of the best visit i`ve had to the island for sure and we`ve been goin over since 91 give or take a year or two.

i'd say that my eating and boozing haunts increase by only around 10% when summer arrives.

IMO cheapest and best bar in Ibiza Town is Mar Y Sol - dont even bother with Base Bar etc - this place is by far cheaper and got a much more fun atmosphere - table service all night and stupidly cheap in comparison.....
