Preview: I Want My MTV Ibiza 2011

No live act listed on the calendar that date... but they do have Russia's own Nina Kraviz that night ;)
 
on the 15 of july live act is still TBC... at the terrace...
but in the main room Gaiser will perfom live )

Nina Kraviz is on of the dj`s i`m looking forward this season ! but i don`t think her sound will work fine at this party...
 
I Want My MTV set times?

Could anyone give me any pointers as to what time you'd expect the headline act to start please? We're not arriving till the early hours of Sat 3rd Sept and (if Monarch do the business and get us there on time) we were going to try and make Amnesia for the Primal Scream set.

i think i read somewhere that Snoop came on round 3am at the opening.

Not sure if that bears any relevance or not!!
 
I want my MTV question

Has anyone done an I want my MTV party at Amnesia?

If so, can you tell me approximatly what time the main act is on? Our flight lands at 1am and want to head straight to Amnesia for the Primal Scream night, but probably wont bother if we will miss them, is the main act normally on at the end of the night?

i guess primal scream won't be playing the last slot, thus i see them playing from either 2 or 3am onwards till about 4 or 5.

I asked this question as well as we land at 02:20 and really wanted to make the Primal Scream set but €45 is a lot to fork out if we're not going to make it. Apart from Snoop who McCrackin tells me came on at 03:45, has anyone else got any reports of what time the other I Want My MTV set times have been? Thanks x
 
I'm not the best authority, as I didn't go personally, but by all accounts the crowds were maniacal for Snoop.

They over suscribed, and even some of those who brought advanced tickets queued for hours and didn't even get in.

Glad I didn't take the chance, as I was contemplating doing the same you all were.
 
So the advice here is to avoid the MTV nights!??

Most of them have been crap, but Primal Scream and Alfredo on will be quite special, but if its going to be mega rammed and queues to get in, I dont think i'll bother...

Definitely go to the primal scream night.
 
I'm also wondering about this. Me and the misses are out there for a couple of days but this night is the main reason we are going.
Do people think this night is going to be very busy? I thought with some of the names on the terrace playing it might be less people attracting more of an older crowd. Worth getting tickets off here just to be safe?

Also, what's the earliest set times are released? I've got a feeling Alfredo will be on first and don't really want to miss him. I read ''balearic set'' as either a straight up Amnesia 89 style set or it's him promoting that new mix CD he's got out. If it's the former I don't want to miss a second! Thought the new mix is alright actually.
 
yeah im going out this sept and primal scream are on my list, after seeing them in brixton london! do love the old Scream ablum ... any ideas what time the acts start in ibiza clubs? i wanna get near the front coz im guessing it will be full of people that dont really dig live gigs and nothing worst than being stuck at the back when people infront either dont move to dance or stand there with there phones out recording something they will never watch again.... rant over!
