Preview: Defected at Pacha 2011

Shapeshifters at Defected question...

I am due to fly out tomorrrow for a week and am trying to gather as much info as possible about what nights might best suit. i see that the shapeshifters are down for defected at pacha on saturday. I have seen footage of them at previous nights and they have had a live singer performing. Is this likely to be the case on Saturday or do they normally just play some tunes at defected? I think I would prefer the latter.

So excited for Defected at Pacha! I land on the 30th of July and goin straight there for the legends that are JUNIOR JACK & KID CREME!!!
 
Defected - review/feedback/advice please

Hi guys/gals,

My hubby and I skipped Ibiza last year (I had a baby) so I feel a bit out of the know.

I'm keen on going to the defected party at Ushuaia and then maybe defected at Pacha. However, I am wondering a) if we'd get a discounted entry into Pacha later
b) if that will be a bit too much defected.

I used to love defected years ago, before the MC's & when the music was a bit faster than down tempo.

Any advice welcome. Thanks a lot!

a) The Ushuaia and Pacha parties are completely separate things. So far as I'm aware there's no concession into Pacha for people who go to Ushuaia.

b) Ushuaia Defected party about 7hrs+ 'till midnight .. can imagine a plan to do a double-header of the same thing being a bit 'Defected' unless you're a complete and total fan ?

Heard some of a Defected preparty @ Mambo recently and was underwhelmed. Just my personal preferences - there's so much good stuff on out there that plenty of scope for a bit of variety ? ....
