Cream 21 July....

Hi there. This will be my first trip to Ibiza and one of the many nights we are planning to do is Cream on July 21st. I see PVD is doing a "Terrace special" set. How do you think this will be different to his normal set in the main room? Will it be better/worse, and what are the Pros/Cons of being in the Terrace to being in the main room? Also does it get too busy as i have heard storys of Cream being uncomfortbly packed (But not as bad as the stories iv heard about Pacha 8O). One more thing... What are Calvin Harris' sets like? What sort of music does he play and how good is he? I think his tunes are ok but not great and kinda commercial....

AND.... What do you think the set times will be roughly?? Mainly for PVD and how long does he play for?

Hey dude, i've been a couple times to Cream and it was maasive every time i went!!

I never saw him on the terrace, but i think the terrace would be great for Paul and Ferry!!

Normaly Paul starts at 2 till 5 and then Ferry, but mayby they will switch. So be there before 2 am....


I gonna be there to, so i'll see you on the dancefloor!
 
I saw Armin Van Buuren play the Terrace last year for an Armin Only warm up. It's like the terrace is made for trance believe me. If they set the stage up near the stairs to the toilets with the big LED screens it will be amazing. And then there's the lasers and the ice cannon... :):p
 
I've heard Calvin Harris play twice and he usually plays electro which isn't my favourite type of music.
He plays a bit like Afrojack and Laidback Luke but not as tough.
 
Ive seen PVD smash the main room loads of times and its something you dont forget. I have only been in the terrace once last year for Armin's album launch party and to be honest its got nothing on the main room and its not as big! Felt very packed in there early on but it thinned out. With it being Ferry and PVD it will be trance to the max regardless! You'll still have a blast, I just prefer the main room.
 
I think his terrace performance will be much more of a 'show', with much bigger production than a normal main room dj set. I'd guess there will be some major visuals in time with his music, and the lazers and cannons will be used to full effect. Something along the lines of Tiesto's shows at Privilege but on a slightly smaller scale. I think the terrace at Amnesia can actually probably fit more people in than the main room and is more open so lends itself to these type of things better than the other room.

If you like PVD i imagine it will be well worth seeing!
 
Hey guys,

Due to popular demand Paul van Dyk will now play the Main Room instead of the Mixmag Terrace for all his Cream Ibiza dates.

With regards to the 21st July Calvin Harris will now be playing in the Mixmag Terrace.
 
PvD smashed the opening party and he didn't want to stop playing, he left JoC waiting to get on for about an hour :D
 
So does this mean that the Cream 14th Birthday on August 4 will also be switched around and PVD and Ferry will be in the mainroom instead of the terrace?
