Pre-Pacha and Pre-Privilege

Hello, need some pre club advice.

Not sure that I want to be drunk for 10 hours of dancing each night....but if all else fails and that is my option, I am sure the clubs are not affordable for drinks. :x

Going to Pure Pacha closing Friday night.. starts at Midnight. Where might be a good place to drink up near it? I suppose bora-bora or-something might be good, but are there options right closer to the club? How long should I expect to "queue" (love the brit way of saying that).8)

Going to Privilege on Saturday night... are their bars near by? Also, from en-bossa (fiesta club Bahamas)... how much do you think a taxiwill be to the club? Sounds like the disco buss is also an option. Also, no pre-sale tix for this bash... 2 hour queue?

Any tips, tricks or feedback would rock my world! Thanks:!:

i can't help with the bars...but didn't know queue was a british word....we use it all the time!

if there are 3 of you i would take a taxi if you can... on the way home there will be a huge queue for taxis.. but the bus goes by in the morning... may be a bit of a wait.

In the States, we usually say "line" as in "stand in line" or "there's a long line for taxis", but queue is also generally understood. ;)

To answer the main question, CH, your best bet is probably to hang out in the Ibiza Town harbor area. There's lots of bars around, some of them pricey (avoid the places with "happy hour" deals and pushy promoters trying to drag you in off the street) and others of them quite decent for pre-party drinks.

From there, it's a short taxi ride or you can take the ferry across the harbor to El Divino and walk the 2 blocks to Pacha. The ferry cost 2€ one way last time I took it (though that was a year or two ago)

Heh, yeah... here its "waiting in line"... I am all for promoting "queue" it just fits better.
So far, only 2 of us to head to Privilege... with luck we can find a few to share a ride back to en Bossa.

agree with Morbyd here

plenty of nice bars along the harbour and near enough to Pacha to walk round

Good idea for the boat ride but watch the schedule; I think it stops around midnight.
Check out the gay area; drinks are cheap compared to the harbour bars Morbyd mentionned.

The boats run until 3 if I'm not mistaken (but do double check)

The bars on the harbour further down towards the end aren't as pricey, and anything back off the water (up in the Calle de la Virgen 'gay area' or elsewhere) are generally cheaper.
