.................I know this is predominatley an Ibiza forum but can anyone advise me of the club scene in Prague? Club names, music styles, places to avoid?

Went to Prague the other weekend for a Hen do. I liked the place but thought the nightlife was pants. We ended up staying in the same place which was cheesy but when there's a big group and you are wrecked it doesn't really matter. There were some good bars though. My advice would be get a lonely planet/rough guide we would have been lost (literally!) without ours.
There were 20 lads on a stag do from my home town and they seemed to spend most of their time in strip joints/whore bars!
Saturday night was a bit weird as there seemed to be loads of Czech teenagers out with wristbands on??
Can't remember any of the names of places but your hotel staff will probs help.
I think there were probably some good places that we missed.

the roxy is a great little club, well worth checking out. good vibe.

theres a club near charles bridge which is worth a go too. around 5 floors of music. each floor has its own bar and dancefloor.

music ranges from hip hop and r'n'b to 70's/80's to techno to house etc

the chillout room is pretty cool too.

and the women are STUNNING!!!

there are 3 clubs which are ok, you have roxy, check the listings for the date you are there http://www.roxy.cz ; than you have big club near Charles bridge called Karlovy Lazne ( 4 clubs on 4 floors: MCM CAFE, PARADOGS, KALEIDOSKOP, DISCOTHEQUE you pay only 1 entrance for all clubs); and then you have Radost FX the best place for techno trance and house, lately they have only house and on some days r`n`b ( GRRRRRR !)
We had the best time in Radostt Fx( 2 years ago with good techno), check the listings on http://www.radostfx.cz !!!!
