Portinatx???

Hi, I'm going to Ibiza for the first time at the end of May and we're staying in Portinatx, in the Portinatx Apartments (cheapo, travelling with Just). I'm a bit worried cos there's no mention of them anywhere on any of the sites etc - do they exist??? and if so, does anyone know anything about them? I know portinatx is meant to be a lot quieter than the bigger resorts but is there anything to do at all? Am worried!

I have been to portinatx a few times working it, unforutnetly I have the worst memory in the world however I remember it as been a very picturesic place in lots of hill side benifiting from one of the nicest coast lines on the island.

Its a real family resort and is not really geared up to people who want to go out drinking or out to the clubs (there is no night bus, see here http://www.ibizabus.com/discobus.htm). However if you are going for a relaxing holiday on the beach with a little bit of shopping and sangria this is probably one of the best places for it.

Never heard of those apartarments before, but I am sure they are there espically if you have booked with JUST which is probably the biggest tour agent in Europe and is protected with ATOL (and such like)

Hey i'm off to Portinatx Appartments on June 5th, i've seen photo's on the net and in brochures so hopefully it exists! FRom what i've heard Portinatx is a quiet area, but with Ibiza being such a small island it's easy to get to the louder resorts such as san antonio-we hope to visit there at least once for my friends birthday! hope this helps!
