Just booked here for Space opening weekend at the Sirenis Country Club.

Anyone stayed in the hotel/resort before, reports?

Ian

i don't think i've ever seen those two places mentioned in the same sentence before! the seaview seems to be almost totally used by families, space by clubbers.

Yep - its lovely - I was further down the road in the Sirens Aura Beach Club - fantastic apartments - excellent facilities - lovely staff.

Not many British people there when I was there, but I like that. Its mainly Swedish, German, Italian and Swiss when we were there. Its a family resort - lots of children - BUT the most well behaved children I have ever seen. It was pretty quiet when we stayed - but we went out for the closing parties so no idea what its like earlier.

The bus terminates right outside the hotel, it stops every half hour and goes directly into San An - via the Bay. Behind the hotel is a great little beach if you walk across it you can catch the ferry over to San An which is lovely if the water isnt too choppy.

There are a few little shops across from the hotel if you need stuff - its not cheap, for better priced things - walk along to the Bay Area there is a plethora of shops/bars/restaurants etc so you will be spoilt for choice....

If you get a chance - walk to Khumaras for the best Sunset Bar on the Island.... its lovely - its a good 20 min walk from your hotel but worth the journey....

Enjoy

I stayed here on my first trip to Ibiza and loved it.

We stayed in the Barcelo hotel. Was a little walk from the beach (although the beach was quite small, not too over crowded though) and it was very easy to either get cabs or the bus which runs up until 12 every night.....then you can get on that into San An then pick up wherever you want to go from there.

Definitely recommend. Especially the Barcelo :p

Thats class, cheers people. Looks like I have made the right decision after searching for what seems like 3 days on holiday sites checking reviews etc!!

Just want somewhere outta the hustle n bustle and to recover after the Sunday/Monday I am going to be having haha!!

How do you get to Khumaras then? Sounds brilliant, sick of the crowds down at Mambo etc.

If you walk you just walk towards San An Bay from your hotel - see map below.....

Enjoy - its very "hippyish" I suppose you could say, in comparison to the Strip, ie lots of stalls selling hand made jewellery, t shirts, bags, temp tatts, CD's etc, but imo, its far nicer and the food is good too- get there early though for a table and order a big cold jug of Sangria and chiiillllllll 8)

you might want to sample beverly, brujas and liberty loft as a nice change from lentil juggling, flaming loon pants and beard growing at khumawossissnames.

Stephen - have you actually been to the Beverley (in the name of Spotlight of course so that you could feed back to your customers?)

The road we stayed on had Beverleys just down the road....not for the faint hearted :p

We saw some great sights coming out of there at 6 in the morning as we were returning home.

Port des Torrent is def the place if you want to be away from hustle and bustle. Thats why we picked it, so we were out the way when we wanted to be.
