Who would play the final and who would win?
Federer vs Rafael Nadal
winner: Nadal:D

and, what about Martina, she won the Rome semifinal, amazing !!!

Martina's won the final now as well, beating Dinara Safina. Sounds like the semifinal against Venus was a good match. I saw Venus and Dinara's quarterfinal matches and both were looking good.

I think you've got Venus, Mauresmo (if she's fit), Hingis and Petrova (not the best of the Russians but she's on a hot streak) all in the mix on the women's side.

On the men's side, it's gotta be Federer v Nadal.

well another federer against nadal final would be amazing!

...but this time, federer should beat nadal!!! (sorry mikkak - but as a swiss i have to support roger!!!) :D

and the comeback of martina hingis is great!

Morbyd I think you forgot 2 of the best players: Clijsters and Henin. Henin is always dangerous on gravel.

I hadn't forgotten about them. It just seems Henin is not up to her best lately and I watched Clisters get beaten by the less talented Dinara Safina last week. They're both contenders, of course, but I think they're quarterfinal material right now (though I wouldn't rule them out, of course)

I actually dont think Federer will get to the final 8O , I think he might lose to a clay couter like Robredo (who won Hamburg yesterday 8) ) or Nalbandian. Specially since Roland Garros are all 5 set matches.

Will let yopu know what the final will be once I see the draw ;)

Im very happy for Martina Hingis too, great comeback :D

I think Martina ( at home we call her Martita, I know is not the same not even the same name) is really amazing, doing really well. 3 years without playing, uauuu!!!:D she is allready number 14 in wta ranking and number 6 in the tour race:D , I think is amazing, I wish her the best. Feel a lot of simpathy for her

I think they are building up to RG. Henin is always top in Paris. My money is on henin if she doesn't get injured.

I forgive you;):lol::lol::lol:. I understand, I understand:D

Rafa seems unstoppable at the moment but in sport thats when you at your most vunerable. despite nadal's dominance on clay.

i agree with ferd, i think this year a specialist like robredo or ferrer could upset the applecart, although its hard to look past what is now "The Big Two"

i honestly think martina will win the roland garros, last weeks win was a massive victory for her, especially after coming back from a set down against venus.

well, well.

federer against nadal in the final this afternoon - it's the final we've all been waiting for (although some of you didn't believe federer would make it to the final). i must say he seems to be having some issues lately (i.e. with the wind in the match against nalbandian), but i'm really tempted who will win this afternoon.

if it's nadal, then he really claims himself GOD of the sand places. if it's federer, then he's only the 6th in the world who's won all grand slams!

i say, go roger, go!!!

Well played to Henin... I thought her best days were behind her but she did rise to the occasion in France!

No suprises for the men's final, of course!

rafa came of age yesterday. fed taught him a lesson in the first set but what does that mean now:lol:

enhorabuena chico!!:D

Great result. 8)

I wonder where the house that he's hired in London is.. He's playing at Queens on wednesday.

yess, lets see if he had improved himself in this other surface. In clay he is the winner lets see in grass. I think is a very good thing that his playing in Queens, last year was a mistake not to go before going to Wimbledon, wish I could go to Wimbledon!!!! and see him play and eat strawberrys with cream. I am looking foward to watch him in Queens and Wimbledon, he has it very dificult and Federer had won the last 3 Wimbledon but I also think that Nadal had worked very hard this year improving himself. So lets see.:D:D:D
