oh how fantastic, I just love staying in apartments where the reps are goin to be on my case all day, this is what you get when you let someone else book your holiday. Am I at least right in thinking that it's up near Coastline.
I stayed in the poniente 3 yrs on the run, 97,98,99. It was 18-30 then , but i think its 20s now? Back then it was rooms of 6 or 4. The rooms were quite big indeed with basic kitchen stuff, and were only basic.It gets a bit hot at times, and the beds arnt exactly Hilton standard , but I dont suppose your expecting that? WE went back three years on the run cos it was cheap and in a decent location, i.e. near sunset strip, not too close to west end. It was VERY lively then , and thats another reason we went back (younger then!), you could get whoever you wanted back to your room , have loud music on till morning (with only elec getting turned off now and again).Its really close to Calo Des Moro beach, and our room in 97 had a brilliant sea view, which was ideal for chilling on balcony with the sunset right facing. However in 98 the Aparthotel Blau Park had partially sprung up in the way!! Some of the rooms are facing another hotel and those rooms are pretty shit for any views! The bar was very late (24hr in 97 I think) and the staff who worked there were all cool,with plenty of laughs to be had, we even went to Es Paradis one night with some of them.. It was full of 18-30/20s people so there were lots of reps milling about, but as ever I think if you take 5mins to tell them you dont want there trips you just booked cos its cheap and functional they will leave you alone! If they still persist get a bit more angry with em! The pool is not actually in the hotel grounds so to speak, its about 30secs walk away, but in the 18-30 brochure they used trick photography to make it look like its right next to the hotel! Its a decent sized pool and terraced area, with a good bar and snacks to in case your funked and cant be bothered moving! Theres a supermarket/shop attached to the place to so you dont even have to go anywhere for drinks/food/smokes/etc which is very handy!
Havent really got a bad word to say about it. Mention it to anyone of my mates who went on those three years and a smile just breaks out and the stories start coming out about the shenanigans that went on there. Met loads of people there who count as good friends now, 7 years down the line. Just realised how much ive rambled on there, but hey , you did say “waffle”!

well NilSatis that was the longest bit of waffle i've seen in a long time, cheers for that anyway. Some reps just dont get the message though, stopped in Samfora last year, a last minute deal, and we wanted nowt to do with the reps. They seriously couldn't understand that we'd only ended up there because of how cheap it was, and that I would infact rather shit conkers than go to Hed Kandi with them, commission chasing fools!

i stayed in poniente in 2001. it was twenties then and the reps didnt bother us all holiday (we were quite harsh with them at first to give them the message) Rooms were really good excelent location.
i would recomend it to people. If you are firm with the reps and tell them were to go then they will take the hump and not speak to you all holiday.
