Poniente Apartments

Hi all, exactly 150 days until me and three mates head back and can't wait!
Anyone any feedback on what like these apartments are?

We stayed at Galera last year and guessing anywhere can top this!!

I stayed there last year :) absoloute MAYHEM! Haha! Great apartments, clean, well kept and the bar prices are good! They do happy hour every day :)! The pool is across the street but its only a 2 second walk! It was really crazy though, constant partying going on :D ! Ideal location, it's just behind Kanya, therefore close to the sunset strip bars! West end is close too, you should find your bearings no bother!

Tip- Befriend and make an effort with the reception staff, we got on great with them and they let our friends in another hotel come back no bother, but everyone else in the hotel was told no or charged for it! The night guy was a bit moody with some of the rooms when they were still blasting music at 4am but he will be your best mate if you make an effort and don't take the p*ss!

All in all great apartments, would definitely stay there again if going back to San Antonio! Staying in playa den bossa this year though :) have a great time!
 
My favourite apartments in San An and I recommend them to everyone.

The night porter is really sweet. He does get stressed occasionally but he's an absolute darling and he likes people who are well mannered and chatty. I haven't officially stayed there for two years but he always lets me up with my mates and that's even when he knows I'm a worker.

Playa Den Bossa?
 
Still amazed how people shout for either san an or pdb.
Such a small island with so much more to offer.I suppose that those that engage in this type of conversation are not really interested in the island,more about 'scenes'?
I've heard people recommend bossa over san an before they have even stayed there...I think they see it as a 'step up'....

Having a preference doesn't make you only interested in the scene. I've been going to Ibiza since a child, love the island for what it is. I just prefer playa den bossa for location, the beach and I've stayed in San Antonio twice now, just not a west end fan. As long as you have a good time, stay wherever you want and don't listen to anyone else :)
 
Fair enough Evey,make the most of the low cost hotels in PdB while you can because I don't think many will last much longer and people will go back to san an....
 
Why does everyone go on about one street in San Antonio and base their opinion on that?

Re: Poniente, stayed there in 97 ha ha Im getting on now. Ibiza uncovered was getting filmed, remember watching it in the poniente bar which was weird. Great time on the island then seemed to be more characters about, more individuals or maybe im just a soppy old romantic!
 
Stayed there for my second visit back in 2010, great little apartment block. Nice walk to the strip and the west end, but a bit of a trek back (Certainly when you're drenched post Water Party).
