On Friday, I had the honour of visiting the site with the artist (declaration of interest - Micheil Ludolphy is Anna's uncle) and his family. I don't know if I'll ever find a more admirable example of dealing with tragedy and it's legacy. The footprint at the end is baby Tjark's. He only lived for two weeks.
Friday was one of the saddest, yet most beautiful days of my life so far.
It's important to Micheil that the wider message is understood. Life is fragile and those you love are not invincible. Make every moment count and love all you can.
