Please help me... advice needed.

I'm gonna be out in ibiza from 4 months and i need a car for the work i'm doing. Obviously i was going to hire one, but you have to be 21, (I'm 19). I can get a scooter, but i don't really want to die.

I have a budget of about £1200 for my car etc. I was thinking about just buying a old banger and getting insurance etc. Does anyone know if i'm legal to do that etc!

or, you can drive a car out there and get the ferry from Barcelona, alot of the workers out there do this... (it's about a three day trip in all, but your times your own and you'll see alot more).
 
mmm - not an easy answer, i know a mate who broke down near the Pyrenees on the way back from ibiza last year...not a good place to have a dodgy motor.

having said that if you can get a car there it will be worth it...but as you say hiring ages are your main problem.

Do you know any other workers out there who would put you in their insurance and let you use their car?
