Playa Real - Talamanca

Does anyone know what the situation is with Playa Real ? - I read here & in the Ibiza Sun that the hotel was closed this year & was being turned into a 5 Star hotel.

However I noticed that on Spotlight's own accomodation pages & in various other web hotel providers it's still available for this year.

Could someone tell me the true position.

we were going to book it, before it went 5 star of course, but it's still showing on the lists but obviously won't let you book and shouldn't show any availability for it.

i think their plans must have changed. we were asked to take it off our system - presumably so they could do the work required to upgrade it - and then we were asked to put it back on. so yes, you can book the playa real as it is showing availability for this summer.

Thanks Stephen - I look forward to seeing Playa Real in June - I would be very surprised if the proposed development actually takes place.
