playa den bossa hotel question

I'm looking for a hotel in Playa den Bossa for just 3 nights in June. My main requirement is A/C, so no dives. I've narrowed it to a couple on Expedia and Ibiza Spotlight and wondered what people thought of them.

The first is the cheaper one, coming in at under 200 USD for 3 nights... Hotel Mare Nostrum. About the only other thing I know about it is the rooms are air conditioned, have a safe, satellite TV, and it's 100 meters from the beach. The price even includes half board. It's about half a mile from Space (where I'm going at least 1 of the nights) and Bora Bora.

The second hotel is a little over 300 bucks for bed and breakfast, the Garbi Aparthotel. The main advantage for it seems to be the location, right on the beach, 5 minutes walk from Space, even closer to Bora Bora, right by Kiss-Somny, disco bus stops right out front, and apparently there's a supermarket close by if I want it (rooms have a kitchenette). So it's a nice hotel I guess, but you pay for it.

anyway, just wondering if the Garbi is good enough to be worth the cost....

any other ideas? Thanks!
 
I'll be at Garbi in June... I've heard it's decent.

Can't be worse than Atzaro, where I stayed last year (the mosquitoes ate me alive! plus they changed our sheets only every 3 days!)
 
But I change my sheets a lot less than t hat at home. ;) heh... that's not good for a hotel though. One of the perks of paying for a hotel is nice clean sheets and towels all the time. Hopefully... :)
 
i have stayed at the mare nostrum, it has an excellent large pool. the A/c we had was just a fan in the ceiling, there may be other rooms with proper a/c. The bar area is decent and the food was pretty good. One thing is this hotel attracts a lot of families so you may have to put up with some noise during the day.

your quite near figurettes as well and its possible to walk to ibiza town if you can be bothered.
 
try the FIESTA HOTEL ALGARB on the beach 5 mins from space.27 eruos a night inc meals ok,go on to the fiesta web site to book ok,a/c nice rooms,good food.woody
