Playa D'en Bossa - Guide

Hi Everyone,

I depart for my holiday to Ibiza a week tomorrow!
I am staying in Playa D'en Bossa (Jet).

I havent stayed on this side of the island since 2004 so i imagine much has changed.
I have some questions which i hope people can help with :

1. Can anyone give me a pointer as to which new bars are worth a visit etc and where they are?
I heard there are some new ones, Nassau Beach being one.

2. Also, i'm thinking of going to the Azuli Beach party on July 8th. Where is it likely to be? (i know its a secret but you can book vip beds, which made me think it may be blue marlin?)

3. Is Figuretas walking distance, likewise for Salinas beach??

4. Does Jet have a designated pool bar? I seem to recall there not being one by the big pool.
The nearest one i can remember is that thatch roof one, but does that belong to Jet?

5. Do they kick off if you bring your own beers to the pool? If there is no pool bar i cant see why as they cant moan for not buying theres like most hotels.
Although i suppose if money gets tight in the last few days (it better not as im taking 1500 euro lol) you can always stand on the beach in front of the pool with your own beer as there is nothing they can do then!

6. It says in my holiday pack that Jet charge 4e for sunloungers ( i do recall this from last time) but as a guest at Jet Apartments they give you a free drink ticket for the bar. Is this true, and what bar???

Any answers will be much appreciated!! They will go someway to repairing my disappointment that my monday afternoon wont be spend inside some yellow brick walls!!

1-new bars are opp space club

3=you can walk to fig easy around 20 mins.sal beach is a little too far,but a nice walk, get a taxi or walk to main road ( the road you come from airport and get a bus #11
4=jet have around 2 pools.
5=bring your own beer.but try not to show it off so much.you can drink on the beach thats ok.but around pool area.just keep it out of the way.do what most do and use cans not bottles around pool.(safer).

Speaking of Jet, does anyone know if the Bali Beach have wireless internet. If not, whats the best way to get online if you're staying at the complex.

Dunno about wifi in Bali beach, but there is a little place called Funkafe, just up the road from Jet. Down the side street with the big clothes shop on the corner which links the main PDB drag with the beach.

About the sunloungers, it changed a bit this year, it's only 3 euros, you receive a "parasol" ticket but without free drinks.

Garbi nextdoor has free wifi. I've had friends staying at Bali pop over with their laptops and perch themselves at the bar or sit by the pool.

Thanks for that. There´s also a German pub on the corner right outside Bali Beach that have free Wifi. Still its a bit bizarre for Jet not to have Wifi in their ¨best¨ hotel.
